Model / simulation descriptionThe NMMB/BSC-Dust model simulation (v1.0) uses as the initial state of dust concentration in the model was defined by the 24-h forecast from the previous-day model run. The NCEP final analyses (FNL; at 1 º×1º) at 0 UTC are used as initial conditions and boundary conditions at intervals of 6 h. The domain of simulation covers northern Africa, Middle East and Europe.
