Model information
Model / simulation descriptionThe CHIMERE model is used to simulate dust emission, transport and deposition over a domain including North African dust sources, the Western Mediterranean Basin and the South of Europe. ECMWF meteorological fields are used, and dust simulations are performed with a 0.25°x0.25° spatial resolution for the summer 2012.
